The flex:converger DVB/ASI adaptor board by gcs is the high-performance link between the Internet world and the DVB environment.

Due to its sophisticated architecture the interface board is able to handle net data rates of up to 216 Mbit/s in Rx and Tx mode. It supports DVB/MPEG-2 section encapsulation and decapsulation as well as PID filtering on up to 8192 PIDs simultaneously and a separate path for high priority data.

The integrated hardware support for burst-output and the programmable on-board CPU makes the board fit almost any data distribution purpose. The provided API allows easy integration into your applications.

The adaptor board is currently available in standard PCI or 3-unit compactPCI form factor, is hot-swap-ready and convinces through its low power consumption. Its modular construction allows an uncomplicated adaptation to future developments.
