ODG1000

The Open DVB Gateway is the new generation of multipurpose IP/DVB gateways from gcs. It is based upon a custom designed high-performance transmit and receive hardware, together with a sophisticated software system.

The gateway hosts up to seven active DVB interface boards, each of which is equipped with on-board CPU and memory and configurable either as RX or as TX device. It features IP in DVB encapsulation and decapsulation as well as direct transport stream forwarding from any input device to any output device.

With a net-bitrate of up to 216 MBit on its ASI interfaces and the ability to operate on SCPC as well as MCPC channels the Open DVB Gateway is suited for almost any data broadcast application. A Skyplex TDMA option together with a comprehensive management system completes the picture.

ODG100

Different models and configurations are available, ranging from the 1U 19" PCI-based ODG100 up to 3U 19" CompactPCI-based ODG1000. Smaller, non-rackmountable versions are available on request.
