Since programming is amongst gcs' core competencies, gcs provides also pure software products in the field of data transmission over broadcast networks. This is to support customer demands who whish to integrate gcs applications directly into existing hardware. Or applications that may be installed on widely available hardware e.g. standard server or PC platforms. The curently available products range from sophisticated HTTP multicast webcaching systems to firmware and VHDL development. It is standard that gcs software products come along with a comprehensive set of documentation as well as instruments (API and/or SDK) for easy integration in existing architectures. gcs also offers a standard software maintenance contract for handling e.g. bugfixes and minor software updates.

Also the products in this area come together with a comprehensive documentation usually split in a quick reference and a detailled user guide provided on CD and as online help function. In addition gcs offers installation/implementation assistance, a maintenance contract and help-desk assistance for day-to-day operation.
